This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies this website uses, what they do, and how you can control them. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — local storage and session storage — work in much the same way, storing small amounts of data in your browser. In this policy "cookies" covers all of these.
We keep this deliberately minimal. At present this website does not run advertising, social media tracking or third-party analytics.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
mokay-consent | Strictly necessary (local storage) | Records your cookie preferences so we do not ask on every page | Until you clear it |
Our hosting provider may also record standard server logs for security and availability. These are not cookies, and are not used to profile visitors.
Our preference centre is built around three categories. Two are not currently in use, but the controls are in place so that consent is honoured from the outset if we introduce them.
Required for the site to work and to remember your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off, and they do not identify you.
Would help us understand which pages are useful so we can improve them. Not currently in use. If added, it will only load where you have given consent.
Would support optional conveniences such as embedded media or remembering details you have entered. Not currently in use.
You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link, which is also available in the footer of every page.
You can additionally control cookies through your browser, which will let you block or delete them. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how parts of the site behave — for example, you may be asked about cookies on every visit. Browser guidance is available from the relevant vendor's support site.
Where cookies involve the processing of personal information, we rely on your consent, other than for cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested. Consent is obtained through the banner presented on your first visit and can be withdrawn at any time using the link above. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
If we introduce new cookies we will update this policy and, where consent is required, ask for it before those cookies are set. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
